Tom Szendrey, M.S.
Middle and High School Academic Coach
Tom has been an educator for almost 30 years both as a teacher and administrator. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Dayton and a law degree from Cleveland State University.
He has significant experience working with students with disabilities and their families to help students find their path to success. Tom started his career as a math teacher before becoming an administrator. His administrative roles include serving as a special education supervisor, assistant principal, and principal prior to his current role as director of federal programs and analytics for a school district near Cincinnati, Ohio. He also taught college courses to aspiring school administrators as an adjunct instructor.
Tom lives in Cincinnati and has two children. Andrew graduated from Northeastern University and lives in Boston, and Abbie is a senior at Saint Louis University. In his spare time, Tom enjoys being outdoors, reading nonfiction, and following professional and college sports teams.
