Kaitlyn Wilson

Kaitlyn Wilson, Ed.S, NCSP

College Coach

Kaitlyn received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) and her M.Ed., Ed.S., and Autism Certificate in School Psychology from The College of William and Mary (W&M). She is currently a practicing Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) in public schools. Kaitlyn also has experience working as a mentor to college freshman and job coach for adults with developmental disabilities. 

As a mentor to college freshman at UNCW, Kaitlyn aided students in their transition to adult and university life by connecting them with available resources, encouraging them to get involved, and individually meeting with students to check in on their progress. As a job coach for adults with developmental disabilities through Next Move at W&M, she prepared young adults for the workforce by teaching common workplace policies, regulations, and nuances while guiding interns through their university job experience. 

As a school psychologist, Kaitlyn regularly assesses students with various challenges, including executive functionality. She synthesizes evaluation results to inform school teams about supports and interventions that aid students in achieving success including skill building in the areas of self-monitoring, task management, organization, and planning. Most importantly, she fosters relationships with students and families in order to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations. 

Kaitlyn is originally from Maryland but currently lives in South Florida. She adopted two kittens in December 2024 whose names are Gamora and Ouija. In her free time, she enjoys watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), relaxing at the beach, and reading. She loves seafood and is always excited to try new foods and restaurants. Kaitlyn enjoys all types of music and has attended many concerts including Luke Combs, Justin Timberlake, and Usher most recently.
