Terranesha Jamison, Ed.D
Middle and High School Coach
Dr. Terranesha Jamison (Nesha) is a dedicated educator with 16 years of experience in exceptional student education. She began her academic journey at the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. After teaching for a few years, she returned to the University of Central Florida to pursue a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Most recently, Dr. Jamison achieved her doctorate in Special Education from the University of Florida, further solidifying her expertise with diverse learners.
Terranesha is highly experienced in supporting students from middle school through college. She specializes in teaching evidence-based executive functioning skills that students can use in various academic subjects or environments. Her success in this area is evident from her work teaching learning strategies courses, conducting executive functioning bootcamps for young adults, and providing one-on-one executive functioning skills support for high school student athletes. As a dedicated advocate for diverse learners, she is committed to the belief that with the right support, every student can succeed.
Outside of her professional life, Terranesha is an enthusiastic sports fan, a love she shares with her entire family. She is a proud Florida Gators fan and a devoted mother to two sons who actively participate in football, basketball, and track. She also has a daughter poised to join the athletic world soon. With her husband coaching high school football, Terranesha often spends her free time enthusiastically cheering on her family from the sidelines. She also enjoys hiking, watching history documentaries, crafting, shopping, and chasing thrills such as riding rollercoasters.
