Nicole Hill, M.A.

Middle and High School Coach

Nicole is a dedicated special education teacher entering her 12th year in education. She earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education from the University of Illinois and went on to complete two master’s degrees: one as a Reading Specialist and another in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership.

Throughout her career, Nicole has worked with students from 6th to 12th grade in a variety of settings, and has taught every core subject, but especially enjoys teaching English and Math. Currently, she works at the high school level, where she continues to support diverse learners.

What Nicole loves most about teaching is building strong relationships with students who find school challenging and helping them discover strategies that make learning more manageable and meaningful. Over the past decade, she’s supported many students who struggle with executive functioning skills like organization, time management, and task initiation. Her passion for executive function coaching comes from seeing how targeted support in this area can transform a student’s confidence and ability to thrive academically.

Outside of the classroom, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have three children, two boys and a baby girl born in April. They love spending time outdoors, going on vacations, and making memories together. In quieter moments, Nicole enjoys reading and baking.
